Sounds of Africa Directors
Martin is a qualified fixed-wing pilot with a strong passion for sound and tech. If not restoring a Mini Cooper, playing golf or building a model plane; you’ll find Martin keeping himself busy somehow. As one of the founding members of Sounds of Africa, his technical insight and eye for detail add valuable depth to the team. Leading our permanent installations unit, Martin ensures customers are happy with aesthetics and professional workmanship. Able to think on his feet, his input can push the boundaries of what’s possible while keeping projects on schedule. Martin is also head of maintenance on rental equipment, making certain all is in check and up to spec.
Brendon began his journey in audio as a campus radio presenter at 15. But it was behind the scenes where he found his true passion — content and technical production. His career in commercial radio included roles at OFM, Jacaranda FM, and 5FM and has a Radio Award under the belt. An experienced sound engineer with a focus on production and broadcasting, Brendon has added installations, events, and solutions for business content creation onto his CV. Responsible for system design for Sounds of Africa, he has vast knowledge of equipment and solutions to aid you in your venture or event. An accomplished and experience vinyl DJ, book him if you’re keen for Deep House or Drum n Bass.
